Shelby County vs. Holder was a case that impacted individuals across America in 2013. It effected the Voting Rights Act of 1965 as well as voters throughout several cities. The case itself covered laws preventing voter discrimination that were listed in section 4 and 5 of the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Through this exhibition, you will travel through these time periods as if you were living in them.
